There is no store that exists which sells literally all categories of things under one roof. Imagine how chaotic, bewildering, and concerning it would be to walk into a store that sells live animals, automotive parts, fresh groceries, toys, clothes, computers, software, instruments, jewelry, books and all under one roof. Some writers will desperately write about anything to make a dollar or two just to show how brave, flexible, everybody-pleasing they are. Not the case with Millennium River. I make it crystal clear about the type of services I sell, what you can or cannot request, and why.

Toxic Foods

If all you offer on your website is food that is absolute junk, especially those with Bisphenol-A (BPA), trans fat, Polycyclic Aromatic Hydrocarbons (PAHs), high-fructose corn syrup, Butylated Hydroxyanisole (BHA) or other toxicities, I will reject it.

Supplements

Dietary supplements include vitamins, minerals, herbs and other botanicals, amino acids, enzymes, and various other products. Dietary supplements can also take on a variety forms: traditional tablets, capsules, and powders, as well as drinks and energy bars. Many people do regularly take supplements. This is to ensure they are getting enough of a certain nutrient they are not receiving from their diet. However, there are far too many of them that are problematic, even controversial, to make it worth the hassle of doing encouraging writings on them. This only applies to website that solely sell supplements. If your website sells mostly other things, a request for this will not result in rejection.

Fitness And Weight Loss Consumables

If you need to lose weight, build muscle, or get into another specified condition, get the right amount of sleep, fluids, exercise, or follow a proper diet or plan instructed by a legitimate doctor. Many manufacturers have been accused of making false claims about their products, adding pharmaceutical ingredients to their supplements, or producing their supplements under dangerous conditions. Some fitness supplements are truly harmless, and may even be effective at creating a sense of fullness, burning fat, or boosting the metabolism. Even then, some ingredients cause the following problems: increased heart rate, high blood pressure, agitation, diarrhea, sleeplessness, kidney problems, liver damage, and rectal bleeding. Similarly to the supplements explanation, fitness and weight loss consumables are too problematic to make it worth the hassle of doing encouraging writings on them. Similarly to the above, this only applies to website that solely sell weight loss consumables. If your website sells mostly other things, a request for this will not result in rejection.

Drugs

A drug is a medicine or substance which has a physiological effect when ingested, or otherwise introduced into the body. Services that discuss what ABCD drug is are allowed. Requests to do write-ups involving products that contain legal drugs are non-requestable.

Requestable examples: The History of Tylenol In Canada, What Do Benzodiazepines Do?, The Differences Between First And Second Generation Antihistamines.

Non-requestable examples: Best Recipe For Cough Syrup Shake, How To Make Marijuana Brownies, Why You Should Use Glue For Your Depression.

Alcohol

Alcohol is a commonly consumed beverage across the world, but certainly not everywhere, nor by everyone. Write-ups pertained to non-consumable alcohol are allowed, but consumable alcohol is not covered with any of these services.

Requestable examples: Hand sanitizer, Isopropyl alcohol, Alcohol wipes, and similar others.

Non-requestable examples: Best Beer For The Weekend, Best Fruits For Rum, Tequila Or Vodka?, Red Wine Or White Wine For Dinner?, and similar others.

“What if I want you to write some webpages for my restaurant/shop, which serves/sells alcohol? Is that requestable?” Yes, the non-requestables in regards to consumable alcohol are pertained to write-ups solely, or largely about consumable alcohol. As long as its not all you sell, Millennium River will not wash it away.

Hate

Hate is an intense dislike against something; be it a person, place or thing. Write-ups requesting hate against people on the bases of race, color, gender, national origin, age, religion, creed, disability, veteran’s status, sexual orientation, and gender identity are strictly prohibited. Other toxic forms of hate such as being against animal rights are also strictly prohibited.

Obscenity

An act, utterance, or thing that strongly offends the prevalent morality. Due to the definition of the word, it can sometimes be arguable what is, and what is not considered obscene. However, there are a number of things are considered universally obscene. Requests for obscene write-ups are non-requestable. Bare in mind that this also extends to titles that have profanity in them. 

Racism

“Racism is a belief that one group is superior to others. Racism can be openly displayed in racial jokes, slurs or hate crimes. It can also be more deeply rooted in attitudes, values and stereotypical beliefs. In some cases, people do not even realize they have these beliefs. Instead, they are assumptions that have evolved over time and have become part of systems and institutions, and also associated with the dominant group’s power and privilege. Racial discrimination is the illegal expression of racism. It includes any action, intentional or not, that has the effect of singling out persons based on their race, and imposing burdens on them and not on others, or withholding or limiting access to benefits available to other members of society, in areas covered by the Code.” – Ontario Human Rights Commission

There are many things that do not need to exist in this world. Racism is one of them. For  millennia, and unfortunately to this very day, racism continues to cause much pain and suffering. Absolutely no write-ups on proracism can be requested.

Homosexuality

Seeing this listed on the list of non-requestables without an explanation would make it far too likely to assume that it is because of hate. It is not. As thoroughly explained under some of the categories above, Millennium River does not have any dealings or productions with hate, obscenity, and racism. For the case of homosexuality and its related topics, it is a personal decision behind the omission, not a hate-based one.

Ghostwriting

Ghostwriting is when someone is hired to write a speech, blog, article, or other forms of literature, that are officially credited to another person as the author. There is no reason for such a practice to exist. Writers already have it as hard as it is with all the stereotypes and hardships associated with writing. Not being allowed to have credit for something one has worked on is wrong. This practice should stop. Requests to do ghostwriting are entirely prohibited.

Extreme Resolutions

Basically anything that is too long or too wide, should not be requested. When requesting a wide-screened wallpaper, do not go beyond 7680 × 4320. For custom scenarios, no more than a length or width of 9000 pixels. This means that you can only request 9000 × 9000 as the extreme custom maximum.
